Thread: GO WILD

Man was last nights game horrid. Penalty after stupid penalty. They must have been serving punch and pie in the penalty box, because the wild sure did want to stay in the box. Backstrom was pretty strong all night, but got hammered in the Shoot Out. And don't get me started on the wilds PP, because there is no PP. I believe we are like 0/28 on the PP this year. Which if you want to play in this league, you need to be able to score on at least one PP a game.

But its in the past. Next we got the St. Louis Blues, who aren't doing bad theirselfs, being 3-1-0, but they have only played 4 games as of 10/17/07

Game time is at 7:30 Central, but it won't be on TV here in the north.

Do they black out games there to get people to the stadium or they just don't show it on cable? Thankfully just about all of the Red Wings games are on VS. or Fox Sports.

not sure how they are handling the broadcast, the local station is doing something where we can't get it. Luckily i can listen to it on the radio.

I don't know what happened last night, but the guys that came out of the locker room for the second and third period were not the same guys that went into the locker room after the first. They were up 3-0 after schooling the flames in the first period. But then, instead of staying on their toes, they eased up and got put on their heels. The Flames scored 3 unanswered goals in the 2nd period. That should have been the que for Jacque to pull backstrom and stick in harding, but i guess he wanted him to take his medicine or something. The flames then went on to score 2 more unanswered goals in the third. It was a horrible game after that first period. Lets hope they don't do that again. Good lesson for them, if you want to get to the cup, you can't let up even if you are winning. THIS IS SPARTA err MINNESOTA!!!

I prefer hockey. But if I want to take a nap in front of the TV football's great for that.

Pfft. Hockey/Soccer/Basketball are all similar, move up and down the field of play about 100 times per game and attempt to score, failing much more often than succeeding (slightly different for basketball, but still).
