It's a pretty huge hit. My frame rate is usually over 100 when I play without recording video but once I turn it on the frame rate drops to around 45. I'm still learning how to best use FRAPS, the next time I start recording I'm going to use half the resolution I was using because once you convert the finished video you loose all that high-resolution look anyway.
I was having trouble with my system crashing when I would turn the recording feature off and/or on. So now I just hit record at the beginning of the round and turn it off at the end. The raw FRAPS footage takes up a lot of space, I have about 150 gig saved on one of my drives.
If anyone has some tips to using FRAPS let me know.

Sorry about that MacDre! I'm sure it's only a matter of time before you return the favor. I'll be sure to include my multiple deaths by you in my next video.

Just an FYI, I'm going to let the filefront link from my first post expire in the next few days. Filefront keeps on sending me annoying emails telling me that it's up for deletion so I'm going to let them delete it next week. I still think downloading the file from filefront and watching it from your computer is the best way to watch it.

I'm going to start recording with FRAPS again so if I'm in your squad in BF2 just act natural.

Hopefully I'll have another video to post in a few weeks time.

When you are recording the frame rate it displays is the rate that it is recording at. It is not necessarilly what you are actually seeing.
