Obviously......we're spending money. Quakecon isn't just a booth. It's travel, and banners, and posters, and buttons, and staff shirts, and and and and. Combine that with some new server purchases with Hypernia, AA3 requiring it's own, standalone instance and assocaited cost (we're working on that with one of our sponsors, killergameservers.net), and a drop in things like admin donations, reserve slot renawals, and all that jazz...... we're not exactly making money either.

If you are an admin, resident clan member, regular....PLEASE support your home and sign up for a reserved slot. If you're a forum addict, PLEASE consider signing up for a TTP Subscriber (no more ads) subscription. For those of you who script block TTP's ads.......that hurts TTP's bottom line.

And if we can't stay in the black.....we can't continue to grow and rock ass at QuakeCon.

single donations are fine...but like we always say...TTP needs to make projections to grow. Single donations give us one time cash....which is ALWAYS appreciated. But like many of you that give big $50 donations.....TTP would MUCH RATHER you buy a reserve slot for 10 months. Be a no-ad subscriber for 3 or 4 months. Something we can count on coming in, month after month, costing you the same amount of money, and actually GIVING you something in return (a slot, no more ads, etc).

bet you guys that saw me post the expenses first shit your pants. Yeah.....dropping $9K is big potatoes. Especially when we dropped $6K the month prior. And more K next month.

But what did we spend it on? Shirts, and banners, and buttons, and booth's, and insurance and supplies and food and entertainment for our boys in QuakeCon. QuakeCon has turned up new users, increase site traffic, and gotten the attention of legit sponsors that we'll be adding to the contest prize list, perhaps doing hardware reviews for....whatever.

All of that invests BACK into TTP, the community.....which is what drives the revenue cycle.

That, and everyone buying a reserve slot. Or three.
