IG...certainly a good effort! Do you have Adobe Photoshop? I thought you had said in a previous post that you did. I am a 31 year old ex-graphic artist with extensive experience in photoshop and still use it very heavily to this day. I would be very happy to assist you with any questions or feedback you may have on your artwork at any time at all, just PM me. Please consolidate ALL of your thoughts into ONE PM at a time though instead of several PM's one after another over just a few minutes of time. Deal?
As for your banner, I will give you some constructive criticism. And don't take this personally IG, not at all, I am merely talking about the banner in which you asked for feedback on and what I am saying here is meant to help you improve as an artist. That being said...the concept is good, although very similar to the one currently on the site. From an artistic standpoint, the character models are not cut out correctly, there is a white border around them. There is no shading on them in the correct angles according to where a light source would be coming from. They are very low quality images to work with, I would strongly suggest Googling to find some better image sources to use, those are very blurry and pixelated. The font in the banner looks like Microsoft Word's "Word Art". You can download and install TONS of free fonts to use on your projects that you can then insert as a new layer into your PSD files and then add effects, shading, overlays, vector masks, etc... Again, Google is your friend for free fonts, search and you will find TONS. Compare the banner you made with the one at the top of the site. Which one looks better to you? Your answer is, most likely, the one on the site. And the reason is the player models are high quality, the font is customized and overlaid with some effects, there is proper shading on everything and the image is crisp and clear. All the little details of a creation add up. If you miss a corner here or there or skimp and use a pixelated image for a project, your end result will show it. It is best to search for what you need, edit it to what you want and pay attention to the small details that make a finished product look great. Take my sig for example. Simple I know, but still, bear with me here. I re-created Carmen's shoulder and leg to overlay the "BUELLER" text just a bit and then added the correct blending and shading so that you can't even tell that I started with just a torso essientially. Just take your time and pay attention to detail and your finished products will be awesome every time.
That site that Lethal posted has a lot of fantastic tutorials to teach you how to do just about everything you could ever want to do with Photoshop. In addition, go and download and install a whole bunch of new fonts. I think with some time and dedication, you can become a Photoshop master and produce some really high quality stuff, but you have to learn how to use the tools at hand first my friend, and like I said, I will be happy to help you out with that. Just let me know. Until then, keep it up, you have a lot of great ideas now you just need to work on perfecting your finished products. Hope this helps you out. Take care!

Here is another tutorial site that is pretty cool. http://www.photoshopjunkie.com/ It is mostly tutorials for modifying cars, but the same concept can be used for other things. Plus you can learn how to photoshop your dream car. Have fun.

Yep, I've learned almost everything I know about PS from good-tutorials. That, and a few GFX forums I've visited. They're usually all friendly, so I would suggest finding one. I don't have names off the top of my head, but I can find them later.
Shame that I'm barely into graphics anymore. Oh well.
