Look at www.cabelas.com as well. I have not ordered one but we kicked the idea around this year. They are expensive compared to a normal turkey so we were affraid to give it a try.

It is ok, I like them marinaded in jamaican jerk and then rolled in flour and fried in an iron skillet(a friends recipe). You can also slice the breat open, fill it with cream cheese and sliced jalapenos, wrap it in bacon and put it on the grill.

This goes for your normal turkeys.

Freezing the bird tears the cellular walls, letting all the juice run out of the meat when it thaws. This is why you get dull, bland bird, and need a lot of gravy.

Order early, buy fresh, and mesquite smoke that puppy. I guarantee you will never have a bird so tender.
If you cant get one fresh then let it thaw in the fridge for several days instead of in ambient air.
