Are the members those in charge of TTP or those who enjoy playing on TTP?

Re: One syllable - the power of listening

    Good question.

By members I mean the people that enjoy playing on TTP and contributing to our mission: playing games the way they are meant to be played.

When I write on these forums I strive to use as few words as possible to explain the thoughts in my pea-sized brain. I would have to write for a year with a team of editors to adequately explain the spectrums of every thought I have and my position within those spectrums. In the end few would read the product of that effort. Why? I believe because they already know as much as I do and often more. In other words, my investment wouldn't add anything to the pool of common knowledge. Instead of saying a lot, I try to focus a few words on practical applications of what we already know.

Civil did a better job of saying that. :3

This is LONG!! You’ve been warned.

    Name: Lost Angels
Tag line: They can't find heaven, but sure can find hell.
    Chapter Names:

    Chapter 1-Park Place:

The Survivors will make their way down the parking building starting from the 6th floor only to find flipped cars (some having still active alarms) and dead bodies. They will find a tent on the fifth floor containing a health pack/pain pills, ammunition, or a second pistol. After about 5 minutes of the level starting, there will be an incoming attack. After fighting off the attack they will make their way down to the second floor but realizing that the stairs are out and there is a barricade blocking the way to the first floor. There only options are to either light the barricade or call in the elevator which is on the top floor. Both one will attract the horde and the Survivors will have to fight off the attack (this is where communication comes in because there are 2 choices and if nobody talks and call in the elevator AND light the barricade, they will have to fight double the zombies). After making it down, there is a safe house and the level will end.

    Chapter 2-The Mall:

The Survivors will now have to locate the mall and get there safely; fortunately for the Survivors the immune band has put graffiti on the walls and streets to the next safe house. There still will be flipped cars and dead bodies, but will soon find another tent containing a Molotov and/or a pipe bomb. Once they have reached the steps of the mall there will be a dead person with a radio attached to his belt and it will be a recording saying "Please any survivors, please respond to this live transmission. We will supply food, water, and other supplies to whoever can make it to the mall" You can choose to answer it or just go into the mall. A Survivor will say "Yes of course! When we open the doors you have to make it to the 3rd and go to the Managers office but be careful it will cause the alarm to go off and you'll have to fight your way up here. Radio back when you're ready". After the doors open the 4 will have to make there way up there where they will find the safe room.

    Chapter 3-The Field

Now there are 8 Survivors and you now have to make it to the LA Angels baseball arena where the next safe house is located. The Survivors will make their way across the street to a hotel lobby where there are supplies including a health pack/pills. They go out the back way into an alley where they must travel towards the electronics store where pipe bombs and Molotov are located. If a Survivor looked everywhere they may find weapons next to a dumpster. After passing through the electronics store the stadium will be in sight. The Survivors will now encounter a Tank in the parking area of the stadium. After he is killed, a plane will drop bombs overhead and whoever is in the way will be killed (Note: That there will be cover nearby so if under it, you’ll be safe). Once you reach the stadium there is a safe house at the entrance.

If anyone wants to add on to this that would be fine.

I think there should be a college campaign...where you're trying to escape from your college which has been overrun by zombies and you need to make your way to an army base which, ironically has also been overrun. So, you have to make your way to an open field, where a helicopter spots you and , yes, it needs more fuel , and you have to fight off zombies for that period of time....Feel free to add on

I feel that the beggining would be a good start add-on mine for the middle then your end would be perfect. 4 survivors just out of college in a zombie apocolypse. Good thinking!

It's set in a garden centre - you can use a lawnmower and hedge trimmer as two extra melee weapons. There are garen centre employees, which can run slightly faster and lead commons, in a manner similar to the clowns in Dark Carnival.
Chapter One You fight through suburbs and large gardens toward the centre, until you reach the safe room (a shed).
Chapter Two Takes place on an elevated flyover overgrown with vines and stuff. If you get punched off you can make your way along the train tracks below. The safe room at the end is the main reception of the garden centre.
Chapter Three This is the large centre itself. Attacks can come from all sides, since the walls are glass and plastic, and you fight through several large greenhouses.
Chapter Four In this chapter you move through the large features at the bottom of the centre, such as ponds and large garden ornaments. These hem in the player on each side, makng it almost corridor-like.
Final Chapter Is a crescendo event. You set off the noisy watering equipment and sprinklers, which draws the horde. Hold out until the escape boat arrives along the river.

The Point of this campaign is to make it to the supposed safe area at the top of a close mountain out side the town. it spans 6 chapters. the campaign has many cool factor that offer originality.

    Chapter1-Frozen Mart
The survivors meet find themselves in a looted gun shop.
1 tier 1 gun spawn and 1 tier 2 gun, random spawns of course.
the survivors make there way through the neighborhood of the town, running through a couple houses and a park.until they make it to a shopping mart. where if infected(or SI) push a shopping cart through a door than an alarm goes off. there is no way of turning the alarm off except for making it to the safe room at the back of the store.
NOTE: parking lots will spawn in some back alleys and parking lots.

    Time of day: 1PM
weather: partly cloudy/low amounts of rain/sleet.
    UCI:N/A
    MeleeWeapon:Shovel

    Chapter2- Shivering woods
In this chapter you exit the town through some woods behind the shopping mart. the ground in the woods is very muddy/wet, near the middle of the chapter you find a radio, where you hear military calling for survivors. before you reach it it gets crushed by a tree, it ends up screeching very loudly starting a crescendo. as you proceed through the woods the snow falling gets worse and worse. you end the chapter by getting into a military bunker(saferoom)

    Time of day: 5PM
    Weather: Snowing
UCI:Military solder (Will drop an active grenade at death 30% of the time, 5% of the time drops a not active one)
    MeleeWeapon:Hatchet

    Chapter3-Dark pathways
You wake up at night, noticing the bunker is about to fall.
the survivors are forced to leave at night. the survivors shortly reach the bottom of the mountain, there are many caves and paths leading up the mountain. you notice a couple helicopters flying off the mountain. half way through the chapter its starts hailing, which really interferes a lot of warning noises. the crescendo is a running event, you trip off an alarm system after noticing no one is at the gates. you run to a switch to turn it off.
you end the chapter in a run down shed(saferoom)

    Time of day:3AM
    Weather:Harsh snow/hail
    UCI:N/A
    MeleeWeapon:Shovel

Chapter4-Roads of ice. (Mini running finale)
You walk out in a small military outpost. There is a radio, you awnser it asking for help. you are told to follow the close road to the helicopter about to launch. the military foolishly make a huge anouncement that the last helicopter is about to leave. this starts the mini finale, like the TP finale you are forced to run on the icy car filled roads, and some caves to the helicopter. once you reach the helicopter, you see it leave without you.
the chapter ends with no safe room, but when everyone reaches the launch pad.
NOTE: this chapter act like any other finale.

    Time of day: 8AM
    weather: partly cloudy
UCI:Rioters (that ignite if kill(30%chance) also a 5% chance of a molly drops
or an active pipe bomb drops(20%) or a not acitve pipe bomb drops (5%)
    MeleeWeapon:Rioter's sign

    Chapter5-Rickety bridges
you see the helicopter you missed crash and fall to the ground(and explode)
than you proceed to an old helicopter.
    you notice it needs gas.
there are two old bridges, the AI director will decide which one falls.
this will decide a huge path difference, but both lead to a military storage building, you go there to get gas.

this chapter is pretty short, but you have to successfully get three tanks of gas and make it back to the helicopter.
the chapter end when you fill the helicopter.

    Chapter6- Call for help FINALE
The survivors call for help on the radio, because none of them can fly the helicopter. they call and get a respond.
The survivors hold out in the military base until a Military car finds there way to the survivors. The military car ends up being a group of citizens helping out survivors.

The second half of the Finale is protecting the group of people while they start the heli, if they die you lose(multiple tanks spawn and no help arrives.)
if you make it, you fly out in the well rewarded helicopter.

I so far have one idea, and I'd be happy to share it.

    Campaign Title: Final Cut
Tagline: Zombie Apocalypse. Coming To A Cinema Near You.
Campaign Theme: The Survivors are trying to escape town, but they're forced to go through a Film Production Studio overrun by infected as it's their only means of escape from town.

    Chapters:

    Chapter 1: The Suburbia Lofts

    Chapter 2: The Streets

    Chapter 3: The Downtown Junction

Chapter 4: The Film Productions Studio

Chapter 5: Blue-Screen Effect Room Finale

    ----------------------------------------------
So, tell me if you like it, dislike it, or think it would be brilliant with some improvements.
But, don't bug me about lack of description for the chapters. I couldn't think of anything so far.
