Yeah I wish the originals looked more rugged and experienced in the passing. Not too realistic, they would have had to have changed some clothes by now and why is louis so clean cut.

There are updated versions in L4D, they're the "original" survivors

But seriously I think it'd be cool if some sort of homage was played to the original designs in some sort of add-on or something.

For PC players the original skins are available to download...somewhere, if anyone was interested and wondering.
