    Gotta love startgas...

I have this moped, a Vespa Ciao from 1968. A little project I'm messing with in my spare time.
Really pimped out, 60 ccm, black and blue, a real racer

The thing is that when you start modifying those old mopeds, or any moped, bigger cylinder, bigger carburetor...
They tend to break much more often than a standard engine. So I've had alot of problems with this, it runs for a couple days, it breaks, I'm too lazy to fix, I fix it, it runs a couple days again... And so on. The problem is that I've replaced everything with totally new parts, cylinder, crank, bearings, you name it. And I'm too impatient to drive those 300 kilometres at half speed

So the gaskets blow all the time, spark plugs worn out fast...

Anyway long story short, it's a moped without a kickstarter, that means alot of running
And sometimes it's really giving me a fight, it just won't start, and I run and run and run...

Today I got enough. I ran over to the local mechanic, bought some ether, startgas, nos, whatever you call it, and gave it a good spray of that... It started right away If you ever get startproblems on your car or bike, and if it's not battery or generator related, use some of this. I promice it'll help you. Even on a vinter morning. Just remember not to give it too much of it

Be very careful with that stuff Gore, when used right it if very good stuff, but its not for all engines nor should it be used lightly. I almost got my face blown off and burned a truck to the ground using some starting fluid just a month ago. Spraying some to start a truck, tried to start, backfired out of the intake into my face, knocked me down, got back up, and the truck was on fire. Thank god we had a fire extinguisher close or there would have been hell to pay. Company truck and all.

That same exact scenario played out in front of me a few years ago as well. It was a crate motor we were dropping in a '96 S-10, went to start it, and BAM right into my buddies face. Wasn't much of a fire, but it scared the shit out of me..
