is the celeron running Windows XP? The reason I ask is because earlier versions of windows don't support the basic tools necessary to support a VLAN.

Some more info on the Celeron PC would be useful, what OS is it running, how much RAM, although it does sound more like a client problem I would say maybe a port is not open on that PC to allow multiplayer via Internet or LAN, do you have a router in your home network or is the Celeron on a LAN without a internet connection? If so check the Myth's post about what ports L4D uses and add them to your exception list if your running XP SP2 or later. You could also try and update your Microsoft .NET framework but now I'm just spitballing.

    Celeron 460
    Nvidia 6600GT AGP
    2GB RAM DDR2
    P4M800 VIA board

    The PC has internet connection.
TP Link wifi router. .net framework is 3.5 same as the other PCs
My other friends also have the same problem I think their PC are all single core CPU same as the Celeron.

My 2 PC are all dual core does this have anything to do with the player not moving when people connect to my server(Celeron) or i connect to them and not be able to move? This is the only thing we have in common single core processors.....

First off if you don't answer my questions I can't help you.

The only reason for using a virtual lan is to link computers that are distributed geographically.

1)Why are you trying to use a VLAN while online? Why not just use steam to connect to your friends, you can make a lobby make it a friends only game then invite them.

It only turns green when the Celeron PC is hosting a LAN game then when other people connect the Celeron PC Player stops moving its like looping or sounds repeats..... or the player who connects will be dropped
A VLAN game and a LAN are quite different.

    2) Are you referring to a VLAN or a LAN game.

    3) Also when Playing normally online (through Steam) with the Celeron do you get the same problem?

You've not given me an answer on this.

    3) Use the guide in this thread to post your system specs.

If I don't get the 4 responses I asked for I don't think anyone is going to be able to help.

Also if it plays fine through steam I'd have to say the error lies with the virtual lan software.

    End of Line.

If you don't have Steam then you don't have a legitimate copy of L4D which means I can't help you any more. For several reasons.

    1) It's impossible for me to tell which version of L4D you have, with steam they are always up to date. Maybe one of the patches would fix your problem.

    2) I can't verify the integrity of your files, perhaps you have a damaged file causing all the problems. Perhaps it's a bad download or the original pirate slipped a virus/malware in it.

    3) I'm involved in software design (Business software, not L4D) and I don't condone the pirating of any software.

The man speaks the truth. We do not condone piracy here, and you shall not be helped under these circumstances.
