Thread: TTP quotes and comments

I took another look at this run with Kagato's comments in mind. They are fair enough I reckon.

I certainly used a lot more fire than you. Especially to create fire traps for following infected. But it got me into trouble too. Sometimes it was better to keep moving and have the SI on your tail rather killing them and than have them spawn up ahead in a difficult spot. For me the hardest part on The Parish was dropping into the sewer - each time I got a charger spawn on me and charge out of the dark.

Overall it was chargers that caused me the most grief on this mutation - their punch causes serious damage on expert. Hunters were nasty too - I got a glitch where they insta-killed me after a pounce if they didn't leap away. I noticed you managed to melee them off - I just couldn't seem to get the timing right. Solution - don't get pounced.

Glad to see others had as much fun with this mutation as I did.

I had the hunter problem when i tried to do an HR run. When i did this run, and i notcied the hunter was going to try it, while I was getting up, I would spam the melee button to hope to get him.

I, too, think it was a good idea to keep the pace you did. You made it through the entire thing without having to restart once so maybe setting up traps wasn't the way to go.

Anyways, now I'm regretting not being able to play with Xbox players. I thought the controls would be a hindrance but if most players aim/shoot like you do, it looks like a normal PC player.

Buy the PC version! We have shiny custom maps. =(

Edit: On a side note, I decided to play TP expert yesterday for fun. I joined a group when they were on the end of the 2nd map. I decided to record a demo but 1) I can't find the demo's directory (probably because I never stopped recording) and 2) I lit two of my teammates on fire..one of which died. :rofl:

Im not gonna lie, i did die a couple times. But with the video being 35 minutes with the deaths, I had to cut them out.

ALSO, I bought L4D2 for the PC about 2 weeks ago on Amazon, it came and had a used CD key, so i got my cash back and bought a new copy, which is being shipped to me as we speak. Should get it sometime next week.
