Re: PC Gaming is not dead!
Answer:
Crysis, COD4, TTP, and graphics performance.
What will happen, I think is it'll all end up integrating into one...consoles, PC's all playing on the same servers etc...and perhaps all even becoming the same item....like a household PC was supposed to be.

He plays a lot of Halo 3 on his xbox and said he couldn't even do a server search, he just had to get randomly connected to whatever "room" had open slots. Maybe my understanding is off... but I somehow doubt he can have (1) customs scripts for every game, customizing his controls, sensitivities, etc and (2) a great server with every single variable customized, and dynamically changing for the optimal gaming experienced, based on community player votes. Hell, the amount of binds I have in TF2 especially, scripts for changing player class, shortcut voice commands, etc... there are not NEARLY enough buttons on a console controller to do all that.
My friend the Halo player has always told me that he could beat my mouse gaming with his controller gaming, if there were ever a cross-platform title we could duke it out on. This is UNTIL he watched me play TF2 as a scout. His jaw dropped, the first thing he said was "I could never move that fast with my control pad."
You can't explain to the blind, what it's like to see.
Mcstrange said it best, this is a stupid argument. There is no argument.

Re: PC Gaming is not dead!
i prefer to use the word 'scrub' in this situation,
saying gaming is dying would be like saying homosapien sapiens are endangered
