i actually have a G3 CD signed by Johnson, Satch and Vai. totally awesome show at the Roxy in ATL several years ago. i got to meet them for a brief hand shake and signing.

thats bad ass kont. yeah working at the 3rd largest guitar center is pretty damn fun.

It must have some great perks, but EVERY time I visit a large guitar shop I have a sense of pity, yet admiration for the patient folks behind the counter listening to certain players test EVERY piece of gear with hotel california, stairway to heaven, etc. etc. Testing terrible tone for HOURS... all DAY!!! I would quite honestly lose my mind and break a classic germanium fuzz pedal over the head of some bastard who only played it through a tiny solid state amp at very low volume without adjusting tone/volume knobs... Then just says, "It sucks."

*shudder*

I sadly get worked up about such things.
