I only saw the pilot, so maybe the main show, which started on monday, is better but my god it was awful.

The acting made Arnolds acting in T1 look freaking Marlin Brando in The Godfather good, thats how bad it was...


They totally made the terminator plot line a holy piece of shit -

Serenity chick comes back in 1999, you know, after the 2nd movie happened...

BUT the future dudes had sent someone back to the 60s or some shit to build a time machine in a bank vault and store a bunch of guns there for her... FUTURE GUNS!!! BUILT IN THE PAST!!! IN A BANK VAULT! HOLY FUCK SHAKE THE CAMERA AROUND CUT AND JUMP SO THEY CANT SEE HOW CRAPPY THIS ALL IS! MAKE THEM DIZZY TO CONFUSE THEM!!!

THEN at the end they time travel to 2007 AFTER the 3rd movie - You know after the world was BLOW ALL TO FUCKING HELL AND BACK AGAIN 5 FUCKING YEARS AGO

At the end I turned could not help but go over to their production stupido and scream:
WHAT THE FUCK!!! How does that SHIT not TOTALLY FUCK THE FIRST TWO MOVIES OVER and DID YOU EVEN KNOW THEY MADE A 3RD ONE? HAVE YOU EVEN SEEN THE TERMINATOR MOVIES JAMES FUCKING CAMERON MOTHERFUCKERS! DO YOU SPEAK IT

Saw the 2nd on last night, did not get better, even got worst, apparently in 2007 there are a whole mess of guys they sent back and a bunch of terminators all roaming around doing something, i guess trying to prevent skynet from being turned on and nuking all the humans, which by the way ALREADY HAPPENED FIVE YEARS AGO!!!

I guess they can sort of explain all this away with some stupid plot devices, and even explain how this all allows the first two movies to not be completely stupid but damn its like no one writting this nonsense has seen any of the movies

I watched them both and at first felt the same way. It is so far off from the movies, it's just sad, and makes no sense with the way they appear to be taking the show. It appears that they just sort of took the idea of "The Terminator", like from the original movie, and took off from there. That might not have been a bad idea...back in 1984 after the movie first came out. It just doesn't fit or seem right to have the plot go the way it is after the other 2 movies.

Still, it could be a good show if you can overlook all that given time. I'm hoping it'll get better, but it's not looking so good...

And speaking of the Terminator movies, they appear to be making 3 more where the humans are actually fighting the machines (probably some time after the third one then).

I will say the show was better then I thought it was. Is there some room for improvement. Always and definitely.

The one thing I got confused on was T2 timelime end around the earlier 90's, like 91 or 92. Then T3 ended August 1997 with the war starting.

So how does the Chronicles start in August of 1999 then jump to 2007?

So with this new show the acknowledge everything up until T2, but disregard the 3rd movie?

When I saw the previews it made me sick. If anything I want to see another movie set in the future warzone.

I am a huge Terminator fan and this show just pisses all over the general idea and feel of the series.

It appears the next 3 movies will or at least start to take place in a more futuristic warzone. But we'll still have to wait at least a year for the first one to come out and see where they go with it.
