Does Comcast require anything on your PC to run? I fucking hate bullshit ISP's that require a piece of software on your computer to connect. I haven't used one of those in years, but now I'm on Comcast website trying to apply and they want a $100 fee to "install Comcast on my PC" which is bullshit and there seems to be no way around this fee. I haven't paid an "internet connection" fee here in FL for years.

lock ur price for 2yrs plus get 300 bucks....so u save like 720 bucks and if u cancel its like 150 cancel fee so u still net 150 bucks up front

Yesterday they charged us three times for one month by "accident".
Of course you can try to imagine how the phone calls went.
Long story short we now have to wait for the money to be credited back. Takes up to two weeks.
We are on a budget like most American families and this just throws a wrench into the gears.

Hmm, I didn't see that anywhere on their website. I saw $19.99 promo for 6 months, $39.99 after that. And there was no way around the "$100 install fee" in the signup process. Maybe I'll have to call in.
