And the Boomer, a fat man really horrible. I think the Charger was a farmer or maybe a football player. :]

Heres how I see it.

Hunter - A person that was obsessed with Parkour. You can tell by his athleticism and the duct tape on his arms and legs. Parkour practicers use that to help with aerodynamics. The infection has turned his Parkour skills into a deadly weapon and his athleticism is quadrupled.

Boomer - Like what Cherry said, A morbidly obese person. He must have tried to resort to binging due to his vomiting technique. But despite the binging, he simply remained fat. Upon infection, he grew even fatter to the point of devoloping tumor "sacks" to contain the bile.

Smoker - I'm not to sure about this. The one and only clue to his past life that I can find is that he smoked alot and developed his coughing and weezing habits. I guess the cancer from the tobacco merged with the green flu, which formed his many tumors and his long tongue.

Witch - Seems like she was a woman who had emotional problems. Usually depressed alot but also had a rather short temper, due to this unknown trauma, she didn't even bother with proper hygiene such as trimming her fingernails, bathing, and changing her clothes. Said emotional problems must have peaked during the out break when her loved ones became infected, then they surpassed said peak upon infection. Her long nails grew into talons as well and her clothes became even more worn and tattered.

Tank - Like the witch, he must have had problems as well. This time with pure rage. Obviously, he liked working out ALOT to boost his self esteem, evidentally he favored upper body strength to lower body strength. When he isn't working out, people probably gave him a very wide berth. Otherwise if something upsetted him, he usually took it out on whoever was unfortunate enough to be nearby, the results were almost always violent. Once infected, his muscles grew even MORE along with his terrible temper. Steroids may also have played a role in his previous life but its debatable considering his legs didn't mutate.

Charger - Most likely a farmer or some form of laborer. As far as infection goes, One explaination is that he was infected by the same strain of virus that creates a tank. But apparantly something went wrong with the transformation, resulting in only one arm of the man being mutated while the other actually shrunk. His torso muscles seemed to grow to an extent and he developed a similar blood thirst to that of the tank, but he still seems incomplete. It could be argued that it was simply a brand new strain of virus that was created in the man, which mutated into a strain to create chargers.

Spitter - Your guess is actually pretty accurate I think. While not exactly a prostitute, the Spitter seemed to be a woman who always wanted to have a "good time". She probably went around drinking heavily, taking all manner of drugs, having sexual intercourse with other men, ect. She was probably approached many times by men for engagement. She must have told them that she would do so, take the ring, and slip out of site the next chance she got; as is evidenced by her many rings on her fingers. With all the drinking, she obviously must have vomited quite a bit. When infected, the virus must have congregated with the stomach acid, alcohol, drugs, and "male fluids" to create an acidic concoction. She must have thrown up repeatedly but it kept coming back. This cycle must have repeated until it became a weapon. As a result, her mouth is almost completely corroded and her neck has extended.

Jockey - Again, this one is hard to read. As far as it seems, the jockey was shorter than the average man before infection. And to put it bluntly, he must have been crazy; as evidenced by his hysterical laughter and tendency to leap and claw. He might have also had an arched back which got even worse when infected, his insanity grew to dangerous levels as well.

Thats all I can make of them.
