I don't know about the other two, but with the Terran, I build a shit load of defenses so its almost impossible to get in to my base. I then build up a fast moving recon Company, and have them scout out the map. I keep a few heavier guys back at base as extra defense; all the while gather as much resources as I can.

If you did your defenses right (air-to-air missles launchers, bunkers, and such), nothing should really penetrate your perimeter. Then, when the time is right, I kill almost everyone of my guys (except home defense) so I can build an armada of Yamato battle cruisers.

You may run out of resources, just move to a new place, that your recon found, and build a similiar defense as your base. Just pull it in tighter.

Getting 20-30 of these bad boys rolling into and enemy base, and you are almost unstoppable. It was always my favorite tactic.

Of course this is on my N64, and the tactic may be lil outdated.

Hydralisks. Lots of them. They're cheap and effective, which is very important on limited resource maps. Fully research them, and keep a few overlords loaded up to drop in on any moving enemy forces.

And lots of hatcheries. The joy of zerg is the ability to instantly replenish your forces.

Been a very long time since I last played...

With Protoss, you can squeeze out a handful of zealots with two gateways pretty quickly. If you get them there fast enough, you might win. Zerg's the best for rushing, though.

Dark Templar are very good against Terran, since they tend to forget to bring enough detectors with them. If they build a comsat station, just walk up to it and destroy it, or wait for it to run out of power.

Use Firebats with Stimpacks and/or Medics to quickly and effectively counter massed zealots/dark templar/zerglings.

Use Siege Tanks and Reavers to counter Hydralisks, massed Marines, and Dragoons.

Use the Maelstrom + Psionic Storm combo on massed anything Zerg, or massed Terran infantry.

Use Irradiate on Zerg Drones, Terran SCVs, and any kind of massed biological unit.

    Counter Archons with EMP Shockwave.

EDIT: If you manage to get an Infested Command Center, load Infested Terrans into your Overlords and use them as glorified walking bombs.

Talk to Viper he was in some Starcraft tournament, but I play and we've played together. I'm not as good as him, but beat him a few times. Talk to him definitely.

On an air map like Dire Straits... if you're terran build a rax early and float it to your opponents island. Get 6-8 marines, go kill him and laugh at him as he'll be caught with his pants down teching to air.
