Played Arkham Asylum just now and it's awesome! A fight system like that would be neat.
XB: I dunno, it sounds a bit too much like Half Life. But on the other hand, it could work.

I need to think of a plot. I might make this game on Gamemaker in my spare time (but it wouldn't be very good)

Also, he gets ambushed in his own home and has to fight gunmen with only a potato peeler. One grapple allows him to skin the flesh off the gunman's face whole.

It's also going to be pretty high on gore, but realistic (no lightsabres or what not)

Okay, big bump. But I've decided to define the plot a bit.

This dude works for a top secret hi tech terriorist group. He has a wife who knows nothing about this. His wife has a rare disease which prevents her from having babies, so she is thinking of adopting a child. Around that time, Main Character has to kill traitor to clan. In his house, he finds a child (11ish). Showing mercy, and thinking of his wife, he escapes with the child and spares it's life. The clan find out and kick him out. They then invade his home and kill his wife and child. He fights the enemies still in the house, but he is overpowered by the clan's best ninja and mortally wounded. He is left to die in the street. Good Goverment Agents find him and send top doctors to cure him. He gets an increase in speed, strength and intelligence. Forward ten years.
This dude is now working for the other goverment and by now, the terriorist have seized the world by power and rule it. As Justice's last hope, he must embark to destroy the terrorists, meeting alot of people along the way, doing missions for them to earn their trust.

Multiplayer will have a huge free roam area to mess around in and also some game modes like GTA, Halo, COD and the like to keep people interested.

I need to think of a title to this game as well. I've got a good idea for the ending as well, but I won't spoil it.

Damn you. You beat me to it !! It sounds alot liek Prototype. Wich at the mid point of the game is fantastic, tho when the outbreak hits the most of the city, it gets slightly lame imo. But I would defantly love seeing more of these kind of games.

Probably the present, maybe about 2018.
