He says Jeffersonian Revolution, but wasn't Jefferson part of the Democratic-Republicans (i.e. one of the 2 dominant political parties of his time).

He will steal from the democrats like he did back in 2004. No question. But the question is, by how much though?

Which mod to use?
Right, the first real decision we'll need to make is which mod we'll be using to run the ladder/tourney on.
I've done a quick scout of vB.org, and I've found two likely candidates.
There was this one, which runs on an ATP (World Tennis) style scoring system, where the scores of a player's X best results during a time period (we can set the value of X) are added up. The big advantage to doing this is that it means that players who can't play every night of the week aren't punished, neither are players who happen to have a bad night or get stuck with a lousy team. It would probably be a pretty good choice were we to stick with individual scoring. The downside is that it doesn't integrate with the user database at all, meaning that there would be no win/loss statistics etc on users' profiles.
The other option is This one, which appears to be the more popular one. It doesn't have the long-term fairness that the other one seems to have, but it does something that the members might see as fairly important - it actually integrates with the user database, which allows members to start and join teams directly within vBulletin, as well as display tournament statistics and so on on their profiles.
What are your thoughts guys?

I'd have to go with the first one. It does seem more suited to a longer running event, which I assume we're planning to do with this.
