Help me, school project: Question 2

Do it myself. I did however go to school for automotive and have done a little bit of custom work. So as long as i don't need the fancy scanners and other expensive equipment i can do most anything to a car or truck.

Since the last topic didn't get responce, I'll just ask it more simple.

I have an AZERTY keyboard, so I have to change the input for it before I play. Problem is, everytime I end the game, and start it up later, the keyboard input returns to default.

How come it doesn't stay the way I put it? And how can I fix it?

I'm just guessing, but try disabling the Steam cloud by right clicking L4D2 > Properties > Updates and set the drop-down box to "Do not automatically update." Also untick the checkbox at the bottom.

Try setting the keyboard bindings again, do they stay set this time?

Oh, and this specific section of the forums is pretty dead - only me and a few other people regularly post in it. Give it a little bit longer before making new threads or bumping, I know I do try and help as many as possible and I'm sure the others do as well.

Oh, alright. My bad, and thanks for the help. I actually fifured it out last night.

Turns out when I binded the keys I needed in the config, they didn't show in the game because they were already binded somewhere else. Stupid mistake, I know. >-<
