    Chaning oil sucks and is a brainless task. I would rather pay someone $100 to do instead of doing it myself. All that being said I do not think poorly of people that like to do it.

    i didn't read any of the other threads, sorry. i was wondering .. if the survey involves the trustworthiness of mechanics, that question should have been asked last. otherwise, interesting stuff!

    I took my natural mechanical inclination and started putting it into computers. It's a little more lucrative (in some cases) and I get to sit in the A/C all day.

    I still long for the days of beefing up cars though. I think I'm gonna buy the new Dodge Challenger when it comes out though to fill in the gaps.
