This new thing about charging for multiplayer/other in-game services
They say they don't get money from second-hand sales. But if they already got their money from the original sale, why should they care about that? The whole reason used games aren't much cheaper than the new copy is because the store is giving you their money for the game, and they need to make profits too. Talking about things like the Full MP Access in Medal of Honor (which I actually have fun with now-a-days) or Cerberus-net in Mass Effect 2.
TLR, only reason for this is that they want their jewgold.
Please correct me if i'm wrong, though. I like to know things.

Not really. People won't pay to play online after buying a used game over a year old.. People who buy used games are usally on some kind of budget and already have a hard enough time paying for internet and XBOX live.
Alls this will do is KILL a game off faster. Because poor people who buy used games to play online will shy away from these games. Lack of new players will only hurt the games. People will buy it new, play it for a month and toss it in the trash.
Personally i think this is dumb and stingy. They should just release the game and STFU. Most of EA's games are below average anyways. I also noticed this on this years over priced WWE RAW vs SMACKDOWN. The game is already garbage and they expect people to pay to play online if they buy it used?
lol... FUCK THAT SHIT!!! And thats the attitude they will get from pretty much everyone.
HUGE game companies need to stop removing things that should be in the game just to have some 'extra' DLC to swindle more money outta people. And they really need to pull their head out their ass's about charging people to play old/used games online.
I don't care if its a business its BAD business. And BAD business looses customers. EA should try to put out some good games instead of thinking of stupid ways to JACK peoples money. Because last i checked GOOD games means good business. Cheaper GOOD games make ALL the money...

Ya but with diablo 2 alls you needed was a CD key. Which can be passed around..alot. And as long as the same CD key isn't logged online at the same time there are no problems.
My diablo 2 copy has been passed around for years with the same key.
And people online had no problem making their own CD keys for Diablo 2. Thats how spam bots kept alive for so long.
But these greedy asshole are trying to go for a 1 code use, per console per account. FUCK THAT!!!..lol
