Thread: Some extra bones on that income tax return....

I would like to see the AI change the character personified on the screen to match the language, friendly fire, text and healing/helping done by the actual players.

As a player manifests his behaviour the bot character would change it's personality to reflect the players particular strengths and peculiarities. It could be characterized in what they say, and how they dress and walk.

In a lot of games the bots themselves outwardly present such different characteristics as compared to the players that it seems you are witnessing a schizophrenic nightmare. The bot helpful and supportive the players behind the mask being... well you know.

In versus and co-op that would definitely have an effect... as the decent player would mutate little and a sadistic player would be portrayed as a sadist.

And if it could be coded into the ranking system it would provide a much needed visual/verbal cue as to the character of the people you are playing with.

It would also be interesting to have an AI that could have the bots react to the character of the human players.

If a player monopolizes health... no healing.

If a player shoots others too much... less protection.

If a player kills off another character... leave them behind or passively 'whack' them.

Forget new SI. The players would be the new special infected. Just think of the possibilities.
