Re: Scientology Protest Video
I've done research into Scientology in order to help others stay away from it.Their ideas are.. how can I say it? Out there? This website I have found very helpful: http://www.xenu.net/ It has a lot of information and some personal testimonies.
Scientology has a long reach. The Digital Millennium Copyright Act was strongly supported by them and is now used by them to take down "offensive websites" and websites that supposedly display some of their copyrighted material. This is one of the reasons why youtube keeps taking down the protester video that Syrringe put up. They don't want to have to put up a fight with Scientogists.
The following links kind of tell the story of the battle between Scientology and that Norwegian website www.xenu.net.

Here is a copy of the letter that the Scientologists lawyers sent to google: http://www.chillingeffects.org/dmca5...i?NoticeID=232
I could add a lot more but I don't want to clog up this thread. I do want to include a quote from wired.com to give you an idea into the "core" beliefs of Scientology:
Hubbard's secret scriptures teach that 75 million years ago, an evil galactic overlord named Xenu solved the galaxy's overpopulation problem by freezing excess people and transporting the bodies to Teegeeack, now called Earth. After the hapless travelers were defrosted, they were chained to volcanoes that were blown up by hydrogen bombs -- and their disembodied spirits continue to haunt mankind today.
And just one last quote from Ron Hubbard himself: "If you want to get rich, write a book. If you want to become extremely wealthy, start a religion". Although this quote is hotly contested by Scientologists, many researchers would confirm it.

OK, one more thing. I would be remiss if I didn't include the link below to the South Park episode called "Tom Cruise in the Closet". It gives a surprisingly accurate portrayal of the beliefs of Scientology. And don't worry, Trey Parker and Matt Stone want you to watch this episode via the web seeing how they weren't allowed to air it a second time thanks to the lawyers of Tom Cruise and his pals in Scientology.

Enjoy!

~A correction to the above, it looks like (according to Wiki) that this episode has been rerun on Comedy Central after the threat by Cruise to not promote Mission Impossible III and Isaac Hayes (the voice of Chef) left the show because he is also a offended Scientologist.

Re: Scientology Protest Video
They actually pulled the Scientology Southpark episode? I remember seeing that one on TV...
Just for anyone wondering, a year ago you wouldn't be able to find 90% of this info out there. But as panic said, it's an Anon movement, who fired up their hacking skills and released all these secrets to the world.
And the thing is, whoever wins, nothing of value is lost.
