    For you students out there...

Man, I was having trouble getting into my grading today. I teach a graduate level project management class once a week in the evening, and man, trying to focus enough to grade these case studies and exams was tough, especially since I had my toddler doing his toddler thing while Mom was at work.

Fortunately, God invented two things: Jim Beam, and Metallica. Mom came home and took the little guy out, now tunes are cranked, papers are graded, and it's time to get some game on! At least until wifey gets home...

So, kids, as much as you may think we like to bust your chops about your crappy papers, we don't! If you put the effort in to get it right, I'll happily knock back Beam & cokes and give you all a 100% and get on with my life! :4

On another note, why'd they get rid of the BF:Vietnam play-list feature? That would have been pretty cool to be able to crank some tunes while gunshipping or doing the Transport of Doom.

    "Blood will follow blood
    Dying time is here
    Damage, Incorporated."

    Hooah!

My physics advisor is actually the one who provides the booze at events for the physics students, and the honors dean of my college bought me wine on a trip to an abbey and a winery freshman year.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

my dad was a professor for a long time and I remember as a kid we would throw papers up the stairs, and the higher they got the better the grade.

I don't think he was kidding

bahaha that's hilarious. In one of my classes this year "Elections and Public Opinion", the professor was talking about how the pollsters were predicting New Hampshire, and he said, "I don't know about you folks, but I wouldn't want to bet my grade on this primary." Early polls were suggesting Obama had as much as a 11 point lead at times over Clinton, but one student spoke up and said, "I'll bet my grade that Clinton comes through and wins."......the professor took her up on the bet, and somehow, Clinton came through and won. That girl has an 'A' in the class right now, and for the rest of the semester.

That's like taking a class with square root averages for grades (so a 49 is a 70), or the classes with the professors' who only hand out a set number of A's in all of their classes. I have been one of the lucky few; I could even listen to my ipod loud enough for the class to hear it too. Ah for the days of my freshman quarter. I sure was an ass.
