    Photobucket and X-fire offline?

    Hey all,

The past couple of days, both photobucket and X-fire websites appear to be down for me. Anybody else getting that problem?

Dude i'm running an on bored graphics card(256 MB) and i can play l4d2(minor lagges though) .well you will be able to play it but on the lowest possible graphics and it will lag a bit. See if you can set your graphics card to 256MB i'm sure you can.Hope this helped.

Your computer has an SIS Mirage 2 in it.

It is well under spec for L4D being a 1.3 shader model card. L4D requires 2.0 shader model card. It needs 128 meg of ram minimum on the card which your card DOES have. But it also needs a card that's equal to or better than a 6600 (nvidia) or 9600 (ati) and either of those cards are more than double the speed of yours.

My advice is, drop (under 100) some money and get a new video card if you can find one that will work in that machine (and if you can turn off the integrated graphics) or get a new machine before you try L4D.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.

I would note that I just found out you can buy an nvidia 520 in PCI format. That would be a perfect card for your machine if a) you have a free PCI slot an b) you can shut off onboard graphics.

This assumes you don't have a free AGP slot in that machine. There are other cheaper alternatives I'm sure if you can find like a 4670HD radeon in AGP format.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.
