Thread: Marine Cadences

Well, looking for some Marine commercials to show up that Russian one, I found this:

Damn awesome stuff. I think my radio show on Thursday is going to be a bit of a recruitment show even though th AFROTC rules the campus.

A few years ago I went looking for marine/army running cadences for download to MP3 but had very little success. It seemed like there were 2 files available and everybody called it something else so I ended up with 12 repeats of the same 4 minute running cadence.

Sort of boring.

Anybody know of a good place to download some in MP3 format for running motivation?

This is longer than the one I found before but the first 2 cadences are the same as what I had seen a couple years ago.

Gave me chills.

Most of the best running cadence is made up on the fly or is unit specific. Its pretty neat because it can be serious or completely comedic. Most of the profanity ridden ones or non 'PC' ones have been banned in all but the most remote places out of public view.

Some of my faves from my days...

Which got banned from use on base fairly rapidly once someone dumb used it around the housing areas. Evidently moms dont like their daughters hearing that at 5 am. :P

I still like the ones from Heartbreak Ridge that Gunny Sergeant Highway comes up with as they pass some female officers.

Nice... I particularly never thought to run out and grab the forklift on carny finale if you get an early tank. Gonna put that one in my repertoire from now on.
