Thread: So what are you listening to?

Update: Nevermind I finally got the achievement by pure luck in an advanced no mercy compaign online. Since there is no feature in this forum that allows you to delete a post (none which I have found yet) I just edited it. Thank you anyways for reading this.

Yeah, congrats! That's a tough one!

Nice job. A lot of achievements in the first one are crazy hard.

Nothing Special- IMPOSSIBLE.

Tell me about it. It was like the game was alive and knew exactly what I was trying to do. Everytime I tried it, it started throwing all sorts of things in the way. Hunters and Smokers kept spawning one after another. Or a witch would spawn near the tank and while I tried to get rid of her, a hunter gets me. The hardest part is setting it up. The easy part is the tank itself. Sniper Rifle + Kiting = Achievement. But then a hunter appears out of nowhere or a smoker while I am fighting the tank. Thats what makes it hard.

At the end of the No Mercy compaign I got lucky the tank glitched. It was only three of us left. I had yellow life and my team mates had red life. Then one of them gets incapacited and we both go down to help him up before the tank came but too late. He smacked me across the roof onto an AC unit at the far corner and then killed my team mates while one helped the other up. Then the tank glitched and wouldn't come after me, instead started throwing concrete one after another. All I did was strafe back and forth with the sniper rifle and took him out. I got the achievement but got overrunned by zombies. >xD

This one was pretty easy on easy difficulty. I had to get to the pump house in NM and swap difficulty to Expert when the tank appeared and quickly kill the bots - then swap difficulty back to easy and give him the run around while filling him with lead....

Congratz on doing it in advanced - that's a serious amount of damage for one survivor to deal! What weapon did you use? Did you have to grab more ammo in the middle of killing it ?

Like I said the sniper rifle. I had like 10 or so bullets left when he went down. I couldnt grab more ammo because I was stuck on top of that AC unit to the left when facing towards the chopper pick up point from the mounted machine gun. If I had dropped from there to grab more ammo the tank would have ran after me. After he went down the second part of the finale started and the zombies got me.
