Earthquake?
Anyone out there feel it? Listening to the radio on the way into work this morning I heard several people call in from my area (West Michigan) and said that they felt it. I slept through it. And here I thought that I was a light sleeper.

Re: Earthquake?
I always miss earthquakes and I slept right through this one. My wife (at that time GF) was in the Seattle one but I was still down in San Diego. I remember there being a few light quakes here around Kentucky when I was younger (80s) and of course I miss this one....

Re: Earthquake?
it woke my wife up and she woke me up. The bed was shaking pretty good. She made me grab the kids out of there beds and bring them to our room. Lasted about 15 to 20 seconds, it seemed like a long 20 seconds. Here is a post about it from our local radio station here in mid to southern Illinois..................
Earthquake Hits Region
A 5.4 earthquake centered in southern Illinois rocked people awake throughout the Midwest Friday morning. The earthquake surprised residents unaccustomed to such a large Midwest temblor. It happened just before 4:37 a.m. and was centered near West Salem in Edwards County near the Indiana border.
The quake was clearly felt in Chicago, which is about 230 miles away. And residents in Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, Tennessee and Kentucky also reported feeling it. Salem and Centralia Police as well as area sheriff's department all report being flooded with calls about the quake, but there have been no reports of damage.
West Salem is in Edwards County, and dispatcher Lucas Griswold says the county sheriff's department received several calls about the earthquake but only reports of minor damage. Griswold says he felt "a lot of shaking" and he called it "interesting."
There were no immediate reports of injuries.

Re: Earthquake?
update... Irving/Grand Prairie experienced a earthquake on Thursday night Friday morning. 3.0 at best... nothing compared to the i felt(6.7) when i lived in California.
FYI that is 670X more powerful then the one in Irving/Grand Prairie
I didn't know what it was until this morning.
I thought my Neighbors upstairs were doing something naughty.
