Gas 3.50 a gallon?!?!?!

yea seriously.. i was like.. WHO THE HELL IS COMPLAINING ABOUT GAS AT 3.50!! Thats Cheap!

Here its not so bad... 4.19 last time i filled up... probably is higher now.. freaking crazy... makes me glad i drive a smaller car that gets decent gas milage. Of course.. i have to commute 15+ miles each way to work each day so...

Gas at 3.50 is expensive, but less expensive than now. Gas at 1.50 is cheap.

3.88 reg. I pay 4.10 for premium.

For us here in New Mexico it is like $4.05 for regular.

One of the stations near work is about $3.80 since I'm way out in the suburbs. Unfortunately, my commute is 40 miles each way

This is getting out of hand. Seriously. Sooner or later people won't be able to do anything but go to work to pay for gas to go to work.

Gas in Europe has always been this expensive, or more. We are just starting to catch up to the rest of the world. It's not impossible to survive like this, at all.

I do smile when I see those BIG HUGE DIESEL PICKUP TRUCKS at the gas station in TX. Nothing more amusing than a giant pickup truck with a 4 person extended cab, a huge cargo space and towing capacity... and the cargo space is empty and there's only one guy inside the truck. Probably 95% of the trucks and SUV's I see on the road are occupied by 1 or 2 people and are using none of their cargo space. I sold my truck 4 years ago when I saw this all coming. It's cheaper to rent a van every now and then on those RARE occasions when I actually NEED the cargo space.

Well all I can say is you americans still have cheap gas. In many european countries you pay 70 - 100% more for gas. Here in Switzerland we pay CHF 1.92 per liter. (1 CHF is about 0.97 US$)
1 US standard gallon is 3.785 liter. So we pay approx. CHF 7.27 which is about US$ 7.--. And Switzerland is one of the countries with lower fuel prices than many other europeans.
