Thread: Yay for uberness graphicals!

I was browsing around and found this... I find it to be very interesting, and I can't wait for more improvements to the source engine... I think I'm the only one giddy as a school girl out there to this kind of stuff.
Whether it be the new shaders and effects in the last DoD:S update, or to that bright-as-hell HDR added awhile back... oooooooh for improvements.

Anyone else find this exciting?

If the dynamic lights get blocked by sandbags and plants and whathaveyou, I will be excited and simultaneously concerned about the staying power of my 7800gt.

As it stands with the recent update I no longer run DoD:S at 4xAA 16xAF, but rather at 8xAF. Fortunately, I can't really spot the difference. Except on chain-link, but I can't think of where that's in DoD:S. Maybe they'll fix the draw distance on window reflections. . .
