I really hate it when you just spent over 100 bucks on a motherbord and memory for it and find out that it dosent work. I put in over 250 bucks of stuff to get my computer up and going again. And the bord i got for it wont work. I am making a coustom computer and i hope it works. I wonder if Newegg it tryin to rip people off by not giving a 6 month or 1yr warrenty for a bord. They give a 6month warrenty for memory but not motherbords, only a 30 day thing. But I do like there deals. I got a Intel 3.0Ghz Single core for 45.00 bucks as retail would be 80. Also got a 2.1Ghz X2 AMD for 45.00 bucks, retail is 97.00 bucks. That iv'e never seen before. So what the hell is wrong with me or Newegg. Are they ripin me off or is it the bord its self? The bord was retail and I did put in spacers for the bord and it wont friken work. :8

If you just bought it they do have a return policy for DOA equipment.

some info on computer specs would help.

I would check your power supply, im guessing its older since some of that parts you mentioned were older gear.

right about the time they made the 3.0 p4's the ATX power supplys went from 12v2.01 to the newer stuff 12v2.1 and 2.2V

check to make sure its enough to run the new board and new CPU..

as for the memory, make sure it the right speed and voltage, the motherboards site or documents should help with those specs.

well this comp is a rebuild and i do have the proper power supply(380watt). look at my fourm on the "What do you game on" or what ever its called. there it shows all what i did to it.
