Well, I think the goal of education is not supposed to be cramming random info/facts into our heads and more to get us to understand how and why things work and to be able think critically for ourselves. Though the way some school systems and teachers are, you'd never know :P

i prefer history, just not school taught history. Too many people play with the truths to make it look better. Its more fun to do your own research on history, and find out all these different stories and stuff. Like i found out awhile ago talking to a college student working at his parents restaurant (they were from vietnam) that is vietnam, WWII was world war I to them, and the Vietnam war was WWII (IIRC). it was interesting
