Just had lasik eye surgery today!
Fellas,
I had lasik eye surgery today at 3 pm... Everything went great... It's 5 hours after the surgery and I can already see better than I could with my glasses... My vision is clear, although my eyes are very sensitive and hurt a bit. I'll be off cs until probably tuesday just to give my eyes a chance to recover... I hope all is well and I'll see you guys when I'm able to play again!!!
Later.. 8)

RE: Just had lasik eye surgery today!
Sweet, got me some Lasik about 5 monthes ago. Eyesight was really bad but now I am about 15-20 vision and no problems with dryness. Make sure you keep your eyes moist, it took awhile before I could spend extended time on the PC without using the artificial tears. It's awesome, I wake up at night and I can actually see the time on the clock

Exaxtly visa... My vision is now 20/15... a day after my surgery, my eyes don't hurt at all... I woke up this morining and I could read the clock from 3 times the distance that I would have normally had to squint and guess to try to make out the time....
I love modern day medicine/miracles!!!

RE: Just had lasik eye surgery today!
this risk is extrememly small; depending on the thickness of your cornea and your eyesight... my eyes were 20/200... so what other people w/ 20/20 could see at 200 feet, i could see at 20... pretty bad... now its 20/15... i have super vision!!!
If you are going to do it, i would advise taking the time to find a good doctor and don't go cheap on ur vision... i saw woolfson eye clinic in atlanta, the doctor has performed surgery on over 70,000 eyes, 300 doctors chose him to do thier surgery!!! anyway... i'm completely happy with mine... holla if you want this guys number or just google him... later..

RE: Just had lasik eye surgery today!
In Houston I recommend the Mann Eye Institute. They were very professional and the entire operation took about 50 minutes (mostly prep time, actually about 20 minutes in the actual operating room). I would also recommend using bladeless Lasik. My eyes were -7 and -8 and they took em to perfect in one go. My brother got bladed Lasik a few years back and, while cheaper, did not get perfect vision afterwards (he will have to go back for a touch-up before his next driver's exam).
One thing I would never go cheap on is this. It was $2K per eye but very very much worth it...
