WW2, I'm going to take it easy on you.

It's a "simple fix" in your eyes because you ignored the facts. This technology uses seawater. Tell us how to ignore the salt in seawater and you win. Until you do that please don't flash your WW2 wrinkles as a badge of trust.

Do your duty as an old man and help kids use what you taught them in years past.

    Don't use kids.

Just a quick guess to your mystery quote.

That's all we need, chlorine emitting power plants.
This can be done without salt, and by just using water and electricity, to avoid the byproduct of burning salt if that is what you are referring to. Although who knows what they could do with the salt or something else that may work if they put there minds to it, that can avoid any side effect.

However, you call me an old man again son, I'll slap you upside your jr. head.
