Thread: Get back at those junk mail companies.....

Hello everyone! So my friend came up with this great idea to get back at all those pesky junk mail companies that bombard your snail mail box on a daily basis with credit card offers and other bullshit. When you get junk mail sometimes they include a nice pre-paid envelope that has "postage paid if mailed in the United States" in the upper right hand corner where a stamp would normally go.

These companies do not actually pay unless the envelope is mailed back to them. So here's what you do. Take a pizza coupon, a piece of your daily newspaper, a picture of your dog, even a piece of toilet paper, and mail that shit back to them. I encourage everyone to do this. Maybe these companies will eventually get the hint and stop sending all this crap to every American with a mailbox. Not only is junk mail annoying , but it's bad for the environment. Just think of all the trees that are cut down just so I can get a "preapproved" application for a Visa card.

Tell your friends and start collecting those envelopes. Even if this doesn't get them to stop it sure could be fun. See how creative you can get. I might start sending my toenail clippings.

Grrr. Junk mail. Another one of my pet peeves.

I hadn't been to the mailbox in three days, so today I thought what the hell. Let's see what's in there. It was JAM PACKED with bullshit. I damn near needed pliers to start getting the shit out. It filled the passenger seat of my Jeep.

So OK, I thought there is at least a bill in there somewhere. NOT. Two cubic feet of commercial bullshit propoganda. Advertisements for cute shit of all shapes and sizes, credit cards, investment "opportunities", a Bargain Bin catalog from Cabela's...AFTER they already sent me an e-mail with the same shit.

GRRRRRR. I went out in my rugged yard and hugged a tree. Too bad it was a nasty old cottonwood. Practically the only decidous tree remaining after Emerald Ash Borers killed ALL 22 of my old ash trees. And where did Emerald Ash Borers come from? In wooden palets on boats bringing cute commercial shit from Asia. GRRRR.
