    Why America Went to War with Iraq

    Re: Why America Went to War with Iraq

    I find it saddening that we use the 'attack' of sep 11th and revenge to justify starting wars in multiple countries and killing untold numbers of innocents.
    Do we not consistently run black ops across the globe secretly fighting and subverting existing governments?
    Sometimes providing weapons and training to violent militias? Or are they rebels? Or are they patriots?
    Point of view, gentlemen.
    CIA = AL QUEDA?
    How would you feel if OUR country was invaded and your family blown to pieces because our guys helped stage a coup in bum-fuck nowhere?
    The way war goes down in history is determined by the victor.
    Reality does not often play into the history books by more than a narrow margin.
    Right through might.

    CIA = AL QUEDA?
    Seriously?

    I agree with some of what you're saying. But if you're thinking this was all a big conspiracy I'd say you've either watched too much Micheal Moore , or you saw some random documentary on Google.

    I would like people to elaborate on this topic though I'm interested to see different views ( lets keep it clean).

    The comment was more of a comparison of the tactics used by the two entities.

    Smaller groups, decentralized, working in 'cells', using subversion tactics including - propaganda, fear, disinformation, and taking advantage of weaker minded people to do the dirty work.

    Not as a CIA blew up the WTC, sorry for the confusion.

    nothing is neat and simple, there is no one single reason to any of this, one thing leads to another and so on. Anyone seen or heard of Charlie Wilson? We have been foes and allies and vice versa with many different nations and peoples at various times in our history but WHO CARES? This is the moment we are living in and the liberals out there say its our fault this and our fault that then that is the same excuse a wife beater could use...."well if she had made me angry", we have a right to protect ourselves proactively and not wait until we get slapped around again and I agree with MABELL with those who would say otherwise and F them.

    I think everyone should visit the big hole in the ground in NYC...... you might have a different perspective on the big picture if you talk to some of the victims families, and most of all, their kids.
    Also remember that on the day of the attacks No news company showed the people jumping out of the building........ thats called censorship ! They did it in the name of people "shouldn't" witness the Fact. When all they Really did was lessen the Impact of what really happened.

    Foes and allies are what gets millions of people killed, reason enough to care for me.

    When you are the biggest kid in the school yard, and go around 'pro-actively' defending yourself, you are called a bully.

    The trully big picture or the little big picture?

    The one where we were attacked and need to go to war to avenge these families?

    Or the one where it was centuries of imperialistic behavior on our part led to mass buildup of hate for our culture which resulted in a group using force within OUR OWN borders to show us what it looks like?

    More innocents dead, so we should go kill more? And occupy a few countries while were at it? Not to mention feed the hate machine which produced this chain of events in the first place?

    You cannot win a war against hate.
    The intangible does not die.

    No one who makes this point will ever answer the question yes or no. Did Iraq have something to do with 9/11??

    It is sickening to see people that almost try to justify the events that happened on Sept 11. Absofuckinglootly sickening. I wish the mother fuckers that do not like this country would get the fuck out.
