It is sickening to see people that almost try to justify the atrocities that are committed by the government in their name every day for a very long time. Absofuckinglootly sickening. Who is justifying the the events that happened on Sept 11?

I think it is equally maddening and sickening for those who use 911 as justification for invading a soveriegn country that had absolutely nothing to do with 911. This is absofuckinglutely sickening. I wish motherfuckers that are so rah-rah about going to war, would go themselves.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- In a major victory for the White House, the Senate early Friday voted 77-23 to authorize President Bush to attack Iraq if Saddam Hussein refuses to give up weapons of mass destruction as required by U.N. resolutions.

So 77 people that we elected into a position of the highest power fucked up and the folks here at TTP know better. Shit I can buy that.

I guess we should have left Saddam alone to build his bombs, kill tens of thousands of innocent people at the drop of a hat and build his forces.

I would also like to make it clear that this is my second post in this thread and nowhere in either did I say I was rah rah about going to war or that Sept 11 was the reason or a good reason to go.

Read my post, I said what I meant and I meant what I said. I did not direct it towards anyone. If someone here has justified or partially justified the attacks of Sept 11 in thier mind then the quote below applies to you. If not then it does not.

Either way, rightfully or not, Islamists don't like the US for a myriad of what could be seen as legitimate reasons, and I don't think jealousy or fear of our freedom is one of them............

It's an issue of religion for them hawg. We are the "infadels" to them. And yes, invading Iraq was good for us, and I personally feel that a country of our power and means are obligated to help the less fortunate. We are blessed nation and to whom much is given, much is required.

Iraq was harboring terrorists. Whether or not they agreed with what the terrorist were doing, they made no effort to stop them either. Al Queda came to our country, ran a plane into our buildings, and killed our citizens. Iraq was a home to the organization who was responsible for this, ergo it becomes our business. I'd rather have the fight on their land instead of ours. It's unfortunate it's come down to the "it's them or us" mentality, but that's where we are and given the opportunity, I'm sure you'd here them say the same about us.
