LSU got the easier of the tow brackets. I think UNC is really their only challenge.

I didn't know that we were in the same bracket - I hadn't seen the official Omaha schedule yet. If FSU and Miami face off in the Semi's and they end up facing LSU, I think it will be one of the best CWS in recent memory.

I think that the Noles are running high on emotion right now having come through the losers bracket in both the Regional and Super Regional. I hate pretty much everything that the University of Miami does, including playing baseball...

It was the 7th inning and the game was shortened by a "Travel Curfew"...basically, the 'canes had to catch a plane back to Miami so the game was time-limited to X hours...whatever inning they were in at the X hour mark would be the last inning...

The 'Noles were down 9 or 10 runs in that inning and came all the way back - had runners in scoring position then this happened...

They lucked out of losing the series because of some arbitrary "Travel Curfew" then they have the nerve to celebrate and dance all over the field like they just won the World Series...

I hate....hate.....HATE the Miami Hurricanes!

This is why I dont watch much baseball. Instead of fixing problems with the way umpires make their calls and putting in instant replay or other tools to help get the calls right, everyone just says "Well that's the nature of the game". What the fuck does that even mean? "We're too lazy fix anything, so we'll chalk it up to tradition." Baloney if you ask me.

And if Miami can't finish a game because of scheduling conflicts, then either forfeit or play the game another day.

Did anyone catch the LSU/Rice game? What a comeback. 5-1 at the start of the 8th then the tigers score 2 runs. They then rally in the 9th to score 3 to win the game 6-5.

I was sorry to see Florida State knocked off though. After watching that video of them and Miami, I was really hoping to see the hurricanes get manhandled.

A kid i know got a scholarship to Miami for football but it was taken away because he got arrested for smashing a beer bottle over someones head

People who attend Miami and play on their football team are almost garunteed to be a convict sooner or later. Their play on the field may be regarded by some as "great", but their character off the field is pathetic at best. Nothing but a bunch of over confident, cocky, wanna be all stars.

It's sad really, since they had a great recruiting class this year. All that talent is either going to be kicked out of school, in jail, or riding the bench due to team infractions.

Yeah, Rock, teh LSU/Rice game was wild.

However, if LSU comes back and beats NC today, I blame the damn weather.

NC was up 2-0 in the 2nd inning with the bases loaded when the game got delayed for weather.

(BTW, I'm only going against LSU because so many of you are going FOR LSU (and Rice is out), it just makes it that much more spirited!)
