Mouse Shopping
Yeah, except Wendel can suck my dick. I have not seen anything that convinces me that his branding makes the products he endorses superior, only red and black and expensive. And all my hardware is black and aluminum and bling-free, and better at the price points. If Creative and Abit spent half as much on their product development as they did their advertising maybe they wouldn't have to get bailed out by other corporations as often. You don't see Asus or MSI dicking around with that crap, and their products speak loudly and clearly "We are the best."
Razer makes lightweight mice that work masterfully. Even their cheap mice use infared optics and teflon feet. The clicks are responsive and satisfying, and the wheel clicks when you want it to click and rolls when you want it to roll, without any crossover.
I will say that of the four buttons on the side three are useless. I have only sought One and Two when I'm gaming anyway, and they're fantastic.
Plus, the reflective plastic minimises hand sweat and finger gunk alike. Even the cord is flexible and light, and practically non-existent.
One actual drawback pains me: the x64 drivers suck. But once you go 64-bit, it's really, really hard to go back. Even if Ventrillo doesn't work, you have to reinstall your OS if you tweak the wrong thing, and sometimes, not always, but sometimes, you don't have sound. So Razer is in fine company there, I guess.
