Totally honest... I haven't heard an SACD... though I have heard some HD audio sound formats.

I'm not super picky about my audio quality... for example I can tell the difference between 192kbps mp3 and CDA if I'm trying, but that does not mean 192kbps mp3 sounds bad to me. I'm happy listening to it.

I will have to pick up one SACD just to try it out I guess. Downward Spiral sounds like a good choice... although I like the "further" remix album better.

Just like HD video, I don't always like being an early adopter because once you get spoiled by the new format it sucks when you can't get EVERYTHING in that format. I have a few Blu-Rays and they look awesome but I'm more than happy watching most DVD's upconverted. Hell, I watch movies from the 70's that look like trash and I enjoy them.

haha yes that is a great album, i like all the self destruct remixes. i have every single nin cd (except some of the really really rare import single like into the void) give it a try! let me know how it sounds!

yesss, if i did buy a console it would DEFINITELY be playstation. i'm not a big xbox fan. and the games you end up missing you could get on pc anyway
