People do ANYTHING for a knife kill.

Rather its selling out your team, getting your self killed, any other stupid sacrifice just to kill ONE GUY with a knife, when you could've killed many more with a gun.

Knifing someone proves nothing, yet people are willing to do ANYTHING for a knife kill.

in 2142 i like baiting someone into a knife fight, and then pulling out a clark.

But i enjoy suicidally rushing enemies in COD with my knife, just for the giggles. :9

cecil is making the point that if you see someone with their knife out and its not a justifiable situation...execute ma_admin slay, warn, ban. If you allow 4 people to die just because you had your knife out and COULD HAVE provided cover, then you dont deserve TTP.

knifing is fun and i do agree some ppl do anything for a knife,if your coming behind them your good but if your one of the last guys and being stupid and just running at the person with a knife that deserves slay,then kick then if happend again could get up to a ban.but still it is fun and it can prove somethings sometimes

Knifing has its place in successful team play. For example if you are flanking as you can get a quick kill and then switch to your main weapon to take out a few more as long as you aren't sacrificing your team to do it. But I absolutely hate it when your getting shot and you see your teammate behind the enemy switching to his knife to get a glory kill at your expense.

knife kills have become such a source of pride in CS and sadly have risen to the point where people feel like a knife kill makes them seem "pro". Sadly this is not the case and any tom dick or harry can get a knife kill in the right situation. Many knife kills are simply leech kills in a mass battle.. or flash situation. Those are not "pro" and prove nothing... I never use my knife except in situations where its not going to dmg my teams chances of winning... and even then i usually still go for the safe kill. Why knife for a kill when you can shoot for the kill... i dont give a shit if it makes me look like a pussy in some peoples minds... i got the fucking kill didnt i?
