Web portal suggestions.

Can anyone suggest one of a few web portals to try out? It was requested of me to see about doing a site redesign for someone, and I want to take the easy route and use a portal (perhaps something like php-Nuke, but free).

If anyone can provide some suggestions, and possibly why one over another, I would be grateful. Thanks

Do you want it to center around forums?

The one used here is nice. Tiny Portal CMS with SMF forums.

I thought Joomla was nice when i tried it. It seemed to have a lot of support.

I used PHP-nuke and hated it. It feels cluttered and bloated.

There will be forums, but it won't be the center point of the site. It's for someone who owns a motorcycle instruction school. Not a ton of stuff, mostly info about his classes and the like.

I'll likely use phpBB for the forums, if only because I have experience with it (used to administrate the AllAdmin forums, helped out the kid who started the place).
