Will I need a toaster oven in college?

The biggest key is to make sure what is and isn't allowed in your dorm room. We were allowed hot pots, but not hot plates. We couldn't have our own microwave, but did have one in 3 public areas on the floor of my dorm. Thankfully the cleaning staff kept them clean.

Imagine this.... A hotpot resting on top of a toaster oven, which is resting on top of a microwave!

Problem solved, and the whole lot could likely go on top of your mini fridge. They're all pretty cheap, and you could even run a catering business out of your dorm.

Girls might even ask to use your kitchen, but it'd most likely be unwashed men.

I'm not in college yet, but I feel that the following would be vital to my survival:
1) Mini-fridge
2) Microwave
3) George Foreman's Lean, Mean Grilling Machine
4) Ricecooker
5) Hot plate
6) Crock pot/Slow Cooker

Pizza Sauce
Pepporoni
Sausage
Mozo Cheese Shreded...

Make a mini pizza on one side of the english muffin....place in toaster oven....WA LAH!!! Greatest shit ever....
