apparently you can't change the beliefs of independents that core beliefs follow numerous party lines and none of which that are part of modern politics. because you argue with me and i'm not anyone of the aforementioned groups. Not trying to start a fight but just making it know you don't have to be on the left side of politics to disagree with you.

Absolutely, positively, 100% true. Further, I have much respect for people who can debate points and positions without talking down to opponents.

And Asian, I hope you weren't associated conspiracy theories with the Iran-Contra affair...because so far, that's all you've associated it with.

Basically, this.

Whether or not you agree with someone else's points, if you flat out refuse to even consider anything said by anyone else, you're no better than the fanatical Muslims, or the fundamentalist Christians, or the KKK, or... basically all those groups which are based on ignorance and hatred.

Speaking out for what you believe is the essence of America, but listening, not just hearing but actually listening, to others is an equal part.
