Wow man, thats aweful.
My sister in-law was in China, as was her husband, for a year doing Mission work and they had some scary run-ins, but nothing like this...
My prayers are with you that you will be comforted in whatever way possible through this difficult time.

Re: Friend murdered in China
Thanks for the well wishes, guys.
I heard on the radio this morning that a suspect was caught with her laptop, and had left fingerprints at her apartment, to boot... I wonder what Chinese law enforcement will do to this 18 year old character?
Seems like the real issue at the moment is her parents trying to get her body home.

Wow, I saw this on this morning on CBC and thought..." I feel bad for those who knew her, seems kinda unexpected." Then I felt glad that I knew nobody who knew her and had to suffer through it. Guess i was wrong, it's sad how these things have to happen. My friend was stabbed and killed when he was 14 and he didn't deserve it one bit. It's just a terrible thing to have happen and I feel your pain, man.

Yeah... I still can't fully grasp it. It's different than accidents and natural causes... The motivation behind it is most infuriating.
With the little media circus in this small town, it's a little strange, too. It's fastest to get news on the goings on in China through the media, but they're a pain in the ass for her grieving family, and boyfriend of 5 years.

Yeah man, I know how you feel.
I've lost my cousin, who was just trying to protect his friend, to some guy with a gun. It might not have been in China, but it still hurts to lose someone so close. It's hard, but you'll make it through.
The worst part is hoping they walk through that door, even though you know they aren't.
My prayers go out to you and her loved ones.Cowards never start. The weak never finish.
