There is something funny about that pick, I personally would not want to have my head mere inches from the intake of a jet turbine engine. I'm not sure what the intake speed would be to provide enough lift for the chopper but I could easily imagine speeds well over 60 Mph.

Good news is those little engines don't really pull that much airflow, and there's a nose-cone and screens that would prevent ingestion of a human. You can also see for side-views of when they do this that the "passenger" is well-forward of the engine inlet. I would actually be more worried about someone sitting too close to the motor disturbing the inlet airflow enough to disrupt the engine's operation. When that happens, the engine can lose it's ability to pump air through, and essentially "backfire."
