At least it was 5 years ago the last time I was there.
Grapevine Mills Mall in Grapevine lol. Awesome arcade with tons of games. One of the few places I know that has the Mario Kart machine.

I don't make it out arcades very often. So lately been thinking about building my own MAME machine for my house. I could mange to it at a decent price too. Just building the cabinet would be the toughest part. Can buy old arcade cabinets off of Ebay though.

actually, the case is the easiest part.

look around, you can find blueprints for em online...

one of the tech's at the place I used to work actually build's his own all the time...he sells special ones that have housing to integrate 360's, PS3's, Wii, and a PC into one box....

    Re: Arcades

Arcades aren't worth it anymore.  It's rare that I can go to an arcade and play a game that I want that isn't broken in some way.  Faulty buttons, bad sticks, electrical shorts...  Lack of maintenance has killed them.

I miss the days of dominating an SF2 machine.  Back then it was still about playing against the other player, and not about playing against the game itself.  Meaning, anymore it's just finding something in the game to exploit (bug or unintentional glitch, eg. roll canceling in CvS2) and running with it all day.
