R.I.P. Isaac Hayes

I was born in Memphis and lived there until I was 27 (not too long ago!) and Isaac was a huge part Memphis. He gave back to the community as a whole but gave to the kids on a higher level. Donated tons of money to schools to keep their music departments up and running. At any given time you could be boozing it up on Beale St. and run in to him. He was one of the good guys.

I know, and if you look at it closely, oddly enough it usually does happen in 3s...if not more.

I hope we don't loose any other great actors, comedians, or just famous people in general anytime soon though.

Everyone pray for Morgan Freeman plz this man cannot die. We will not see as many great movies!

I think Morgan Freeman is in stable condition now. I know when he was admitted he was in serious condition with no life threating injuries and only some fractures and bruising. Morgan Freemen is an amazing actor and I hope he fully recovers.

Isaac Hayes was about having fun and being cool Cool in that smooth sexy way. Do really you think he'd want people to be sad right now? Same goes for Bernie Mac...

He was...until he started following scientology like a nut job.

I have onc question though (keep in mind I like Mr. Hayes and think we lost a good man). However, scientology states that upper level believers (i.e Mr. Hayes, or Mr. Tom Cruise) are able to overcome sickness etc.....so how could Scientology let one of their "leaders" die. This is an absolute paradox for the church. Hopefully his death will help towards ending any new recruitment of Scientology.

Scientology is a complete joke that's it. L. Ron Hubbard was a genius though. Anyone who can achieve a following like that through writings deserves a lot of credit even though he was evil
