Re: F*&^ Wisdom Teeth
I had mine out about 3 or 4 weeks ago. They just had me lay down on the operating chair/table and asked if I was ready, to which I replied that they should get going so I could get back home and get some sleep (it was like 8 in the morning, damn early). So they stuck an IV or something in my arm and I passed out. Getting up sucked. I was so relaxed I just wanted to sleep, but they had more people to do so they had to hurry me up. Wasn't a good idea. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed and probably puked a quart of blood. They had these stainless steel dental reservoirs or something, and I filled two of them with blood that I puked/coughed up as well as some more when I got home. It sucked really bad. I was on painkillers for like a week and had to keep taking these anti-biotics for 2 weeks.

I had all 4 out impacted.....
I remember them saying count backwards from 10 to 1 - I was like 10, 9, ----------------------- oh, hello mom, where am I?
I also can't take the pain killers....so I didn't take any. It really doesn't hurt that bad after a day or so, less than a sprained ankle, or broken bone but the same achy feeeling.
The worst part was the god awful bad breath you get from the dried blood and scabs in your mouth. Two weeks - maybe more it's like you seriously ate SHIT, and there is no amount of brushing or gum that gets it out, you just have to heal.

I had a bottle of whiskey, and a bullet to bit on. In all seriousness I had mine taken out before my senior year in high school. I had to be carried to the car after I was so out of it. I played a summer league basketball game about 3 days later, so no big deal.
