Re: Desert Eagle .50
I have a Keltec P3-at as my CCW carry gun:
and it kicks a TON more than a .50 Desert Eagle.
The difference is the Kel-Tec weighs about 10 ounces and the Eagle weighs about 4.5 pounds. The extra weight absorbs the recoil. I literally can't shoot more than 7-14 rounds on my Kel-Tec before the webbing on my hand hurts and my arm is sore from the recoil. The .50 Desert Eagle I have shot at least 75 rounds before the bullet cost and holding 4.5 lbs out in front of me made me stop.
7-14 rounds is plenty for taking down an attacker, and the Kel-Tec is a little easier to carry

Re: Desert Eagle .50
we used to have a Baby Eagle (Desert Eagle .40 cal) and it was niiice....
we've also had the keltec 9mm....t'wasnt bad...
our revolvers (all freakin bazillion of em) have Hogue Monogrips on em...freakin amazing.
in 1.5 years, when I'm 21, I dunnoe exactly what gun i wanna get for CCW...either a J-Frame S&W revolver in probably .357...air-weight .45 revolver, or a .380 Bursa....
whatever gun I get, it's gonna go straight into a Tucker Leather holster, custom made for me by Tucker himself :-P
